Even with it being a day before New Year's Eve we really didn't have any horrible lines to wait in. Haunted Mansion looked long and scary, but it went by really quick. Disney has mastered line management. They're impressive! We were able to get on all of the major rides and enjoy pretty much everything in that park. It was a "Go! Go! Go!" kind of day, but at the same time it was relaxing and fun.
We tried to do quite a few things that were not at Disneyland. I really enjoyed the shows we went to. The Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor was hilarious! Nathan and I ended up on the big screen and were told to get up and dance... Without even thinking I was up and dancing like a fool, while Nathan stayed in his seat to dance. The comedic monster applauded my epic dance moves, and made fun of Nathan for not keeping up with me.
We also did "Belle's Enchanted Cottage". It was a super cute interactive story of Beauty and the Beast. They have the children help act out the story with the Princess Belle.
By the time we realized we should get some dinner it was almost 11 at night... We got some food in Frontierland and were entertained by a waiter there. I think he saw me fall asleep at the table, and decided he needed to liven things up for us. He told us we could win free cake for the night if we answered his three questions. We could have 3 life lines: hint, phones, and someone from a different table. The first question we used our phones to answer. The second we used the hint. The third.... we couldn't get to save our lives. We tried and tried and tried... In the end he said we did good enough and he came back with treats for everyone! Each of us got our own personal chocolate cake, carrot cake, and cookie. Needless to say, we were awake after that.
Here were the three questions:
- How many triangles make up the Epcot "Golf Ball", Spaceship Earth?
- What are Daisey Duck's nieces names?
- What seven Pixar movies started as ideas on a napkin?
