Once we had gone on Everest back to back to back, we decided we should give the rest of the park a try. We did some garden walks, river rapids, a Safari, and a couple dinosaur rides. I loved how green the park was. It really makes you feel like you are in the wild.
While we were on the Safari ride, I went a little crazy with the camera. I felt so cool taking a ton of pictures of the animals out and about. I loved that there weren't any fences between us. We were just chillin' in our jeep enjoying the sights.
The Dinosaur part of the park was totally different than I expected it to be. It felt like a carnival, kind of like Lagoon. It was still fun though. I loved the ride Dinosaur! I was really sad when I found out Disneyworld didn't have Indiana Jones at the Magic Kingdom, but the dinosaur ride was EXACTLY like it. But with a dinosaur story instead of Indy.
After that ride we raced to the busses and headed over to Hollywood Studios. We went straight toward Hollywood Tower of Terror to get some fast passes and..... THEY WERE ALL GONE!! We were pretty devastated because it is definitely a favorite when it comes to rides. We decided we had better find other rides to use our fast passes on before waiting in the long, long line. We enjoyed food, shows, and tours. After getting in as much as we could we decided to go brave the hour long line at Tower of Terror.
It really wasn't terrible waiting in line. The wall had spots you could sit and relax. It just feels like forever to wait that long in a line. One because it is way too long to wait in a line, and two because we were doing amazing with all of our other wait times. In the end we made it to our destination, and boy were we in for a surprise. We had no idea the ride was slightly different from the one in California. When the elevator starting moving forward Nathan and I were going crazy. We didn't know what to expect and we didn't know when it was going to blast us up and down. It was awesome!!!
When we got off the ride and out of the building we ended up getting stuck behind a massive crowd getting out from a show. We ended up waiting a half hour on a bench because we did not want to squeeze in with everyone else.
Once the crowd finally died down we headed toward Star Tours to use our fast pass. While on our way we ran into three high school boys traveling with their wrestling team from New Jersey. They asked us if we wanted their fast passes to Tower of Terror because they wouldn't be able to go. At first Nathan and I were super confused... What did they say? We were about to say no thank you, when they told us that they had 5 of them. That was plenty for all of us!!! Before we new it they handed them to us and had run off before we could even say thank you. We were shocked! What a great blessing! I know its something so silly, but we were so happy. Everything on our trip was working out perfectly! So the four of us turned right around and walked right back on to the ride. Best Christmas Present Ever!!!!
The rest of the night was great. We enjoyed a couple more rides and all of the lights. They were beautiful! Seriously there were so many lights, and music, and fake snow. I love Christmas at Disneyword!!!
