30 Weeks: Happy New Year! Our first purchase for the new year was a crib! It's simple, white, and was only $120. I love it! (Thank you IKEA!)
We went in for another appointment on January 6 when I was 30 weeks and 4 days. (That means only 66 more days to go! That's crazy!) Everything is looking great! I don't have gestational diabetes! Hurray! He is measuring a little bigger and is over 3 pounds. Baby boy is also laying transverse (sideways) and my ribs are feeling it. I feel like he is trying to push them apart.
Since our silly boy was transverse with his back turned toward us and his hands up we weren't able to get any pictures of his cute little face. Oh well, I'm glad everything is going well. Now I just need to get him to put his head back down.
31 Weeks: Baby boy is the size of a pineapple. My belly button has definitely popped (it has been for a while now) and is noticeable through some of my shirts. Weird! Heartburn has also been acting up again. My stomach has shrunk and so has my bladder. I think both my baby and I are feeling a little crowded these days.

Pregnancy: Weeks 28-29
28 Weeks: We had another doctor appointment. This time I had to do the glucose test. Hopefully my results come back awesome and I don't have gestational diabetes. Even with the holidays I've been trying to be so good about what I'm eating and getting some exercise in. I haven't been as good as I would like though.
Again, everything looked great at the appointment. We went in on the 23rd of December when I was 28.5 weeks pregnant, and our little guy was measuring 29 weeks. About 15 inches and just over 2 pounds. Oh boy!
It was hard to get a good picture of him with the ultrasound. He has his head down and he's always turning away. Silly boy!
Even though this little boy has been moving around a lot more, I think he gets shy when I try to have other people feel him. He doesn't move as much or as strongly when we are around people. I try to get him active, but so far its just Nathan that has felt him really well.
Christmas was amazing! We've had lots of fun with family and friends. Baby got a stroller and carseat, a couple cute outfits and socks, and a little Jazz Bear.

29 Weeks: I think I've conquered this heartburn problem. I eat smaller meals with more snacks during the day and drink a glass of chocolate milk with dinner. I also carry Tums around with me just in case. I really haven't had intense heartburn since I started doing that.
Another thing with my pregnancy is my nails. Holy cow! They are usually pretty awesome and longer, but these pregnancy nails are invincible. They haven't broke or chipped or anything. Eventually they got too long for me and I had to clip them.
