Four months have come and gone! We've done a lot of exciting things this past month with Stockton and he is growing like crazy.
Just after Stockton turned 3 months old, Nathan turned 30. It was a chill birthday celebrated with a yummy dinner, cake, and a family walk with our cute little boy. Later in the week we went up to Bear Lake with our friends the Moores and Hawkes. We stayed at the Hawkes family cabin and it was a blast. Good food, good company, tennis, Jeeping, pool time, and of course playing on the beach at the lake. While there we celebrated Father's day and this time it was the girls' turn to make our men breakfast. Stockton was awesome the whole time!
A week later we enjoyed the Hill Air Force Base Air Show from my parents back yard. Stockton loved being outside sitting in the shade and thankfully the jets weren't too noisy for him. Stockton's cousin, Cash, was born that day so once they were home from the hospital we went to visit. Little Cash is so cute and I'm excited to watch these sweet boys grow up together and be the best of friends. They are about 3 and half months apart.
During the 4th of July weekend we enjoyed going to the Blietschau Reunion. It was so fun to see everyone and all of the new babies. In under a year we've added 5 great grandkids and there are 2 more on the way.
On the 4th of July we were pretty chill. We went to Nathan's Uncle Steve's house where we ate breakfast and played games. Stockton got to do his first piƱata too. We were invited to a BBQ and fireworks at our neighbors (who is also our Home Teacher). We had a lot of fun and it was nice to just take things easy. Stockton liked looking at the smaller fireworks, but the bigger ones were too loud. (Those screecher ones are ridiculous!)
We took Stockton on a practice camping trip in our backyard. He did awesome! My favorite part was putting him between us in the morning while he was still sleeping and we all cuddled together.
Later that day we had Paget Reunion. Stockton got to meet some knew people while we celebrated the life of my Grandpa Paget. It was a special day at the cemetery and having brunch and a BBQ together.
Stockton has started rolling in the Rock n' Play while he's sleeping so we strap him in and have been trying to switch him over to his crib. We've been putting him in his crib for naps to help with the transition. While he sleeps in his crib he always rolls onto his side and it is the cutest thing. Another cute thing with Stockton is putting him in his Bumbo chair. He things he's the coolest kid ever sitting up so big in it. During tummy time Stockton has started to push up on his knees.
At 4 months Stockton:
- Weighs 12 lbs 6 oz (3%) and is 25 inches long (45%)
- Loves to talk, squeal, and blow raspberries
- Has laughed twice now
- Grabs everything, especially balls and linking rings
- Wears size 2 diapers
- Refuses to roll anymore and instead scoots by pushing with his knees while on his belly
- Is obsessed with holding and eating his hands
