Spring Break in Arizona: Part 2

Karly and I are training for a half marathon. So even on vacation we had to keep with our training program. We got up that Saturday morning and went for a 5 mile run. We weren't quite sure where to run, so we just made sure we got at least 2.5 miles away before heading back.

It was nice and warm.. a little too warm actually. Karly and I were use to running in cold weather or indoors, so the heat kind of got to us. But we still finished strong and got our 5 miles in for the day.

Then it was off to an art festival, eating pizza, and swimming at Karly's Aunt and Uncle's place. We had a great time. The water was a little pretty cold, but we had fun anyway. Karly was a stinker and dunked me into the water from the comfortable chair.

Later that night we walked around a huge outlet mall. We didn't really get anything, except for a swimsuit for Ivy. haha

Sunday was a nice relaxing day for us. We went over to Prescott and Wade showed us around his mission area. We also drove up the mountain to an amazing view! (We were going to hike, but it was way too windy there.)

On the way back to Mesa we drove past the Phoenix Temple. It's looking pretty fancy!

To end the evening we went to a park and played catch. It was a great relaxing Sunday.

Monday morning, Karly and I got up and ran 3 miles. After that we headed to downtown Phoenix for the day.

We ate some more pizza for lunch at Oreganos. We love pizza! And enjoyed the tailgate party before the Diamond Backs game.

It was pretty cool going to a Major League Baseball game. The stadium was huge and the atmosphere was awesome. We were tempted to buy their $25 dollar hotdog, but decided against it. Those things were huge!!
